Every day people are more aware that the use of plastic is not good to the world because it pollutes too much. I think that plastic is bad for the animals because it can choke on them.
The 5% of plastic is recycled. The 95% ends up in the ocean or landfills. As the 95% ends up in the ocean, animals will end up going extinct and dying from plastics because they don’t know what it is and they think it is food or become entangled with them. Besides, plastic harms the growth of seaweed. Plastic is not necessary to buy and people can change plastic by paper bags.
I think that is better to use other materials that contaminates less or that we can recycle. With them, all is going to be better.
