On Thursday, 19th of January, students from 3rd grade went to the Botanical Garden.
In the Botanical Garden we did two workshops: recycled paper and how old are trees. We did them because this term we are studying animals and plants in Natural Science.
To do the recycled paper we followed these steps: first, we cut an old newspaper into small pieces. After that, we mixed these pieces with hot water. Then, we took a kind of colander in order to take all the dough. The last step was to take out all the water to the dough. We kept our paper and we took it home.
When we finished it, we did another workshop. In this one, we learnt how to calculate the age of trees and we plant some seeds.
This trip was amazing! We learnt and enjoyed a lot.
