HOW DOES A MAGNET WORK?

A magnet is a piece of iron. This piece of iron always has a north pole and south pole; between them there is a magnetic field.

In this magnetic field, we can find a further away zone ,that is the weaker force zone, and the extremes of the magnet that are the stronger force zones. All these things form the iron pattern.

Similar poles push themselves away, but different poles attract each other.

We can use a magnet for example in a compass. It always points the north of the Earth, acting the Earth like a giant magnet by itself.
